How did you find out the secret behind Santa Claus?

I was in a fight with a kid that was up the street. I was in second grade. I was pretty much winning the fight. He told me the secret to distract me from hitting him.
Books, movies, music; what's in your top 5 right now?
The album is great because it is lean. It is only nine tracks. There is not a track on the album that I ever want to skip. Every moment of the album is great.
I know that alt.country is not for everyone. I still think this album is really worth a listen.
In honor of Vox's launch tomorrow, what's your favorite feature or aspect of Vox?
My favorite feature is the ability to post songs for other people to play them.
Morrissey was inspired to write 'Panic', the Smiths' 1986 single, whose chorus encouraged listeners to 'Hang the DJ', after he heard a Newsbeat item on the Chernobyl disaster which was immediately followed by Wham's 'I'm Your Man'.
Panic is not my favorite Smiths song, but it might be the best Smiths song. It is a perfect little piece of pop heaven. It is short, angry, and easy to dance to. There is no better subject for a pop song than the end of the world. I fine few things more enjoyable than yelling, "Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ" at the top of my lungs.This song has aged very well. It does not sound like it was written and recorded in the 80's to me. If someone released this song right now it would still be good. In the end I think that is why it is a better song that Now Soon Is Now. That said, Now Soon Is Now is still my favorite Smiths Song

I loved this song even before I saw the video. I saw this video and thought, "Wow, the video makes me like the song even more." It has been a long time since I have thought that. The last time I thought that was for the Matthew Good Band Song - The Future is X Rated. It is good to know a video can still excite me.
