I loved this song even before I saw the video. I saw this video and thought, "Wow, the video makes me like the song even more." It has been a long time since I have thought that. The last time I thought that was for the Matthew Good Band Song - The Future is X Rated. It is good to know a video can still excite me.
I have been listening to the Wolf Parade album Apologies to the Queen Mary a lot lately. I think this is another example of how Sub Pop has a good ear for talent. I am not sure they are for everyone. It has a lot of low-fi rough edges. I just know that I cannot stop listening to this album.
When I am asked what I remember about the Summer of 2006, my answer might be "Listening to the Shins - Chutes Too Narrow a lot."
